This Privacy Policy describes how Brick Blitz! (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

If you choose to sign in using Sign in with Apple, we receive:

A unique user identifier (Apple-generated UUID)
Your display name (if you choose to share it)
Your email address (which may be an Apple-relayed private address)

1.2 Profile Information You Provide

If you create an account, you may choose to provide:

A display name and username
A profile avatar image
A profile banner image

Your display name, username, and avatar are visible to other players on the leaderboard.

1.3 Gameplay Data

We collect gameplay data to provide leaderboards, stats, and game features:

Game scores, lines cleared, combos achieved, and game duration
Power-up usage (Undo, Color Blast, Shuffle)
Daily challenge progress and streaks
Lifetime statistics (games played, high score, total play time, etc.)
In-app purchase history (coins purchased, themes unlocked, ad removal status)

1.4 Device and Usage Data

Advertising identifier (IDFA): Collected only with your consent via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Used by Google AdMob to serve ads.
Device identifiers: Used by Google AdMob for ad delivery and frequency capping.
App interaction data: General usage patterns to support app functionality.

1.5 User Reports

If you report another player’s profile name, avatar, or banner for inappropriate content, we store the report to support content moderation.

1.6 Data Stored Locally

The App stores gameplay preferences, cached scores, and offline game data on your device using local storage. This data stays on your device unless you sign in, at which point it syncs to our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and operate the game, including leaderboards, profiles, and daily challenges
Process in-app purchases and manage your coin balance
Sync your game progress across devices when signed in
Display advertisements (for users who have not purchased ad removal)
Moderate user-generated content (profile names, avatars, and banners)
Award monthly leaderboard badges
Improve the App and fix bugs

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 Publicly Visible

If you create an account and appear on the leaderboard, the following is visible to other players:

Display name and username
Profile avatar
Monthly leaderboard scores and rank
Achievement badges

3.2 Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Google AdMob (Google LLC): Serves banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers, ad interaction data, and (with your consent) the advertising identifier for personalized ads. See Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Supabase (Supabase Inc.): Provides our backend database, user authentication, and image storage. Your account data, gameplay data, and uploaded images are stored on Supabase servers. See Supabase’s Privacy Policy at https://supabase.com/privacy.
Apple (Apple Inc.): Handles Sign in with Apple authentication and processes all in-app purchases via the App Store. See Apple’s Privacy Policy at https://www.apple.com/privacy/.

3.3 We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

Account data: Retained as long as your account exists. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
Gameplay data: Game results and stats are retained as long as your account exists.
Uploaded images: Avatar and banner images are stored until you delete or replace them, or until your account is deleted.
Moderation reports: Retained as needed to enforce community standards.
Local data: Stored on your device until you delete the App.

5. Children’s Privacy

Brick Blitz! is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

6. Advertising and Tracking

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. Before collecting your Apple advertising identifier (IDFA), we will request your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. You may decline this request and still use the App; ads will be non-personalized.

You can purchase the “Remove Ads” in-app purchase ($4.99) to remove all advertisements from the App.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

Play without an account: No sign-in is required to play the game.
Decline ad tracking: Deny the App Tracking Transparency prompt to receive non-personalized ads only.
Remove ads: Purchase the ad removal option to eliminate all advertisements.
Delete your profile content: Remove your avatar and banner images at any time through the App.
Request account deletion: Contact us at the email below to request complete deletion of your account and all associated data.

8. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, including:

Secure HTTPS connections for all data transmission
Row-level security policies on our database ensuring users can only access their own data
Scoped storage access so users can only modify their own uploaded images
Authentication via Sign in with Apple using industry-standard protocols

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
